26" LCD Retro Fit Kit for Sega 29" Twin Drivers

This kit was designed to replace 29” CRT monitors in Sega’s famous twin cabinets.

Unlike other products on the market the framework in this kit is designed to meet the Japanese mounting standard for monitors whom Sega have used since the 1990's, so installing this kit is made simple as it uses the existing metal work inside the cabinet, thus making it Simple and quick to install.

This kit uses toughened British Standards Kite-marked glass rather than Perspex for durability and to safeguard the LCD screen, and is also blacked out top and bottom on the back face to hide any unfilled areas of the 16 x 9 LCD giving a superb finish.

The LCD and glass are adjustable by moving two locking nuts at each corner; these are visible at the very back of the lower and upper black frame on the side, this gives increased scope for using it in different cabinets as the mounting positions do vary on some machines. The existing monitor bezel can be trimmed to t the LCD panel. STS can supply a new at bezel (TOF-1010) at an extra cost. TOF-1010 cost £56.00 and is an optional extra.

The LCD monitors can be wired to the existing 120v monitor feed or directly to the 240v mains coming into the cabinet. The video supply to the monitor uses the existing 15 pin SVGA connector.

52" Retro Kit for Lets Go Jungle DLX

Sega now offer a replacement LCD monitor kit for 'Let’s Go Jungle' DLX, to replace the Sony 55" DLP Bravia.

Using a 52" Samsung LCD panel, which produces 1080i resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9 display, which now gives a far superior picture to the Bravia.

The retro kit eliminates the need to replace the DLP lamps in the projection TV. Furthermore the retro kit will remove the need for the 'HDMI Up-scaler' and the IR control board. The Samsung handles the resolution for the Lets Go Jungle, on board using a high quality AD board.
